What is the School Pool Program?
Safe Routes to School Monterey County is excited to partner with GoKid Connect, a leading school carpooling platform. GoKid Connect will be provided free of charge, and will help families find carpool matches and manage their carpools once established.
The School Pool program will be piloted with 3 schools in Seaside in Fall 2026: International School of Monterey, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School of the Arts and Dual Language Academy of Monterey Peninsula. Families at these schools will be able to register for the program starting in May 2026.
With the upcoming Broadway construction project and related traffic impacts, now is the perfect time to streamline your school commute.
